Tokyo- Hello kitty is no sexist. The popular cute and cuddly fashion icon cat is not just for female fans any longer. The Sanrio Co. which is based out of Japan is usually seen populating kids toys, women's jewelry and clothing's will no longer be just for girls and women. Coming out in January 2008, Hello kitty will soon don men's t-shirt, watches, men's attire and other products targeting men around the world and the Internet said company spokesman Kazuo Tohmatsu. Hello Kitty, the infamous bubble headed feline kitty should be widely accepted by men. It will be marketing on many top Internet sites like eBay, Amazon, Yahoo stores and many more around the world wide web. It will not however have the same bubble headed cute look of its target female audiences. It will sport a much more masculine and will be slightly less bubbly for a more rugged look. For example, a picture of the cat on a $36 black T-shirt has the words, "hello kitty," instead of the usual dots for the eyes and nose. Hello Kitty of Sanrio Co. is such a hit in Japan that it products range from a Hello Kitty shaped eraser to a $48,000 Hello Kitty necklace. This will be the company's first time marketing Hello Kitty to their male fans.
